{"job":{"jobId":2489318,"fk_accountId":null,"fk_organizationId":832,"fk_adminAccountId":null,"title":"Post Doctoral Research Associate, Department of Architecture and Built Environment","description":"\n\nABOUT THE ROLE\n\n\nWorking within the Department of Architecture and Built Environment, as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will support the Principal Investigator in developing and delivering research proposals for external funding, and in writing and submitting academic publications. You will work alongside <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"https://www.northumbria.ac.uk/about-us/our-staff/l/richard-laing/\" rel=\"no-follow\" target=\"_blank\">Professor Richard Laing</a>, primarily concerning his research in people-centred urbanism, including the consideration of mobilities and public participation and collaboration.\n\n\nThe role is for a fixed term of 12 months. \n\n\nThis role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 therefore the successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check. \n\n\nABOUT THE TEAM\n\n\nThe Research activity is being undertaken within the <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"https://www.northumbria.ac.uk/about-us/academic-departments/architecture-and-built-environment/\" rel=\"no-follow\" target=\"_blank\">Department of Architecture and Built Environment</a>. The Department has research strengths in areas including human-environment interactions, advanced construction technologies, digital construction, building information management, heritage futures, and practice-based research.
