{"job":{"jobId":2489539,"fk_accountId":null,"fk_organizationId":826,"fk_adminAccountId":null,"title":"Accessibility Specialist (Student Success)","description":"\n\nDescription  \n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as a campus expert on student related matters regarding accommodations, equal access, and disability.</li>\n<li>Provide ongoing services and programs which advance the educational mission of the University and Student Services including support with recommending, and implementing policies and procedures that highlight disability as a form of diversity.</li>\n<li>Meet with students to determine and facilitate necessary services or reasonable accommodations.</li>\n<li>Develop and disseminate educational/informational materials and presentations for faculty, staff, and students on the university campus to promote accessibility services and the shared responsibility to appropriately accommodate students.</li>\n<li>Participate in the development of goals and objectives for Student Accessibility Services and provide modification plans to Student Development as part of the institutional planning process.</li>\n<li>Coordinate department programs to support students.</li>\n<li>Prepare various reports and analysis-denoting progress, adverse trends, and makes appropriate recommendations.</li>\n<li>Ensure students with disabilities have full access to educational and other opportunities on campus.</li>\n<li>Review student reports and determine if the academic accommodation request is justified based on impact of a disability or skills-based weakness.</li>\n<li>Coordinate and monitor department efforts and programs, including but not limited to testing, assessment, and student programming, to support students with disabilities.</li>\n<li>Prepare various reports and analysis denoting progress, adverse trends, and makes appropriate recommendations.</li>\n<li>Provide support to student support programs on campus i.e. Counseling or Academic Success Coaches to address retention issues.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate  commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success as well as working with broadly diverse communities.</li>\n<li>Maintain knowledge and awareness of digital accessibility.</li>\n<li>Adhere to the University's information security and confidentiality policies and procedures, and report breaches or other security risks accordingly.</li>\n<li>Coordinate with other departments to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities, as and when needed.</li>\n<li>Perform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nQualifications  \n\n\n4.
