{"job":{"jobId":2489947,"fk_accountId":null,"fk_organizationId":5787,"fk_adminAccountId":null,"title":"Research Fellow ,School of Medicine Dentistry & Biomedical Sciences","description":"\n\nJob reference: 23/111200\nDate posted: 11/09/2023\nApplication closing date: 25/09/2023\nSalary: £37,841 - £42,567 per annum\nJob category/type: Research\n\n\nThe Centre for Public Health, School of Medicine, Dentistry &amp; Biomedical Sciences (MDBS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint a Research Fellow.\n\n\nThe principal aim of the post is to undertake a CRUK funded project to investigate the association between antibiotic use on survival from breast cancer. The study will be conducted in collaboration with researchers from the University of Oxford and the University of Nottingham. \n\n\nThe successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate you have: \n\n\n<ul>\n<li>A primary degree or Master’s degree in mathematics/statistics or a health-related subject.</li>\n<li>Obtained or be about to obtain a relevant PhD in epidemiology, public health, pharmacy, applied mathematics/statistics or related discipline.</li>\n<li>Specific, recent research experience and skills relevant to this project e.g. database management, statistical analysis, working with large epidemiological datasets.</li>\n<li>Experience of using statistical packages such as STATA.</li>\n<li>Contribution to authorship of articles in international scientific peer reviewed journals, commensurate with stage of career.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nPlease note the above are not an exhaustive list.
