The role holder will utilise their experience and knowledge to lead a technical group to deliver on requirements, overseeing EUC development activities whilst delivering innovative solutions themselves and being a point of escalation. This role will deputise for the Head of Infrastructure internally and externally within IT Services as appropriate.</p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Its an opportunity to take responsibility for the development and implementation of new End User computing solutions to deliver applications in the right way, at the right time, to the right users </li>\n<li>You will be supporting across the development of the technical roadmap for End User Computing in keeping with the strategies defined by the wider University departments, the IT Services function and the EUC team as appropriate. </li>\n<li>Ownership and accountability for the overall delivery and support of the End User Compute team members including technical solution accountability and dissemination of knowledge and work packages within the team</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>About You </strong></p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of key technologies including Desktop Operating Systems (MS Windows and MacOS) and Supporting Infrastructure (SCCM, MEM, Jamf).</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">We would like to see good knowledge and experience of application packaging and delivery through approaches such as VDI, ThinApp, AWS Appstream, Citrix, RemoteApp etc; including technical design and delivery of the supporting infrastructure and developing Zero Touch deployment solutions or related automation to reduce TCO and improve the overall customer experience with regards to End User Computing services </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">As a Senior Desktop Developer at University of East London you will have proven advanced knowledge of Microsoft Identity and Access Management solutions with regards to authentication, authorisation and configuration of EUC services and solutions </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>Benefits Package </strong></p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">Here are UEL we understand it’s about more than just a salary.
