These roles will support the delivery of EAP/ academic language and literacy across our student-facing provision. This includes Academic Skills Centre (ASC), Pre-sessional (undergraduate, taught postgraduate and research postgraduate) and related provision.\n\n\nThe ASC offers development opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students with a particular focus on international students and students from non-traditional backgrounds. The new posts will deliver provision focusing on academic writing, academic skills and academic English language. Provision is delivered via central classes, drop-ins, tutorials, online resources and through work with academic departments. Pre-sessional provision offers intensive academic language and literacy preparation for incoming international students who have narrowly missed their language condition. We currently offer 20-, 10- and 6-week courses.
