The project aims to prepare potent antibacterial lead compounds that are delivered specifically into the bacterial cytoplasm. The project requires synthesis and scale-up of target molecules within the project period for preclinical studies afterwards. A proven ability of organic synthesis is a key to this project, and willingness, aptitude and experiences in performing synthesis in a product-oriented project will be beneficial.
