This role includes teaching and program development in a leading Jazz and Improvisation program with a vibrant student community. This is a Teaching Specialist position, with potential for research involvement for exceptional candidates.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">Your responsibilities will include:</p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and deliver Jazz and Improvisation course content, including possible contributions to Breadth subjects, subject coordination, and administrative tasks.</li>\n<li>Manage and assess student work, including performance assessments and auditions, and provide effective consultation with students and colleagues</li>\n<li>Engage with external partnerships to support workshops, recordings, and performances, and contribute to administrative tasks to support the program</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>Who We Are Looking For</strong></p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">We are seeking an individual with demonstrated teaching expertise in aural skills, advanced harmonic devices, songwriting, and ensemble direction. This candidate should have a proven ability to motivate and inspire students, organise music performance opportunities, and effectively collaborate with staff and students in the Jazz and Improvisation program.
