The University of Sydney Business School is also the only Australian member school of CEMS, the Community of European Management Schools &amp; International Companies.\n\n\nThe Discipline of Business Information Systems in the University of Sydney Business School is seeking to appoint an outstanding educator to join our dynamic and diverse team. You will be central in crafting a vision for the digital future of business and society and designing ways to engage students with this research driven, future oriented agenda. As leaders in business education, we offer modern digital business curricula at all levels. We are at the forefront in developing micro credentials and lifelong learning opportunities in line with the University of Sydney Business School's purpose driven <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"https://www.sydney.edu.au/business/about/strategic-vision.html\" rel=\"no-follow\" target=\"_blank\">Strategy 2023-27</a> as well as providing dedicated offerings in the School's management programs. We also teach in areas such as digital innovation and leadership, as well as agile project methods. Our graduates are highly valued by industry, leading consulting and professional services firms, as well as government and third sector organizations.\n\n\nWe are known for our influential, conceptual, and innovative thinking on matters of digital technology in business and society, at the intersection of people, work practices and organisations. The Discipline has strong connections with universities around the world and regularly hosts leading international scholars.\n\n\nEducation-focused roles are a specialised category of academic engagement reserved for talented educators with a passion for, and demonstrated excellence in, pedagogical practice and design. In this role you will be expected to make a significant contribution to teaching and learning practice, design and evaluation within the program and will be on a trajectory towards leadership in educational design and delivery. The majority of your contribution will be within education, the role is minimum 20% research, 10% professional and community engagement and maximum of 70% teaching.\n\n\nYour key responsibilities will be to:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>design and deliver innovative curricula for undergraduate, postgraduate management and executive audiences,</li>\n<li>support the school's Strategy in the provision of new emerging forms of life-long learning offerings and responsible management education</li>\n<li>develop and maintain industry collaborations to inform and enrich curricula</li>\n<li>maintain a record of achievement in research and scholarly activity relating to Business Information Systems or Business Information Systems education</li>\n<li>support the School's expanding program of professional and industry research collaboration, with a focus on the school's core research areas and strategic goals</li>\n<li>contribute actively to the governance and service activities within the Discipline, School and University.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nAbout you\n\n\nYou will join a dynamic, engaged group in a highly collaborative and supportive teaching and research environment. We see the importance of recruiting talented educators whose outlook aligns to University of Sydney Business School's purpose-driven <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"https://www.sydney.edu.au/business/about/strategic-vision.html\" rel=\"no-follow\" target=\"_blank\">Strategy 2023-27</a>, and the University of Sydney's Sydney in 2032 Strategy.
