A combination of research and teaching interests in fields such as fertility and marriage, family policies, aging and health, children and youth development, intergenerational relations and transfers, changing family living arrangements and family values in Asia, migration and integration, human capital and labor market, and gender relations is desired.\n\n\nNUS is a leading global university centred in Asia pioneers in scientific and social scientific research in Singapore. Our work is cross-disciplinary in that we form research teams and co-write with colleagues from a variety of disciplines in the Social Sciences and Humanities. Our work is also comparative in that we do multi-sited research involving several groups and sites within one or more countries.\n\n\nCandidates must have a PhD in Sociology and/or any relevant social science discipline, extensive teaching experience, globally recognized research achievements, and leadership qualities.
