Candidates building a career in the area of AI Governance (broadly understood) are encouraged to apply.\n\n\nSuccessful applicants will become Fellows of AISG, with the possibility of affiliation with another Faculty of NUS and will commence their Fellowships in Nov 2023 (or an agreed date thereafter) and conclude them in Oct 2024.\n\n\nFor a description of the scope of research, application forms and documents required kindly refer to the webpage <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"https://aisingapore.org/governance/postdoctorol-fellows/\" rel=\"no-follow\" target=\"_blank\">here</a>.\n\n\nQualifications\n\n\nThe applicant must be of exceptional calibre, having attained a doctoral degree in a relevant areas of research, which must have been successfully completed and examined during the period October 2021 to September 2023.\n\n\nApplicants who have not been awarded the doctoral degree by the date of application but who intend to submit their doctoral thesis for examination are welcome to apply, but in these circumstances written assurance is required from the applicant's supervisor (and endorsed by the awarding institution) that there is reasonable expectation that the doctoral degree will be awarded. Applicant must hold a doctoral degree by the time of appointment.\n\n\nThe principal selection criterion will be the applicant’s potential for excellence in research and the proposed programme of research of the applicant.
