{"job":{"jobId":2497742,"fk_accountId":null,"fk_organizationId":483,"fk_adminAccountId":null,"title":"Research Associate (Breast Cancer Screening and Prevention Programme)","description":"\n\nJob Description\n\n\nThe appointee will be part of the team conducting the ‘Breast Cancer Screening and Prevention Programme’ under Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine; assisting Principal Investigator, Co-investigator and Program Manager in the building and expanding of the current database for research on breast cancer and screening.\n\n\nPrimary Responsibilities and Duties\n\n\nThe appointee will be required/trained to:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Adhere to compliance with Research Governance, Good Clinical Practice, Data Protection and Ethical Requirements</li>\n<li>Data management; i.e. collection and extraction of research data, ensuring its accuracy and completeness. Appointee is expected to uphold the highest standard of confidentiality of sensitive data</li>\n<li>Conducting data analysis</li>\n<li>Required to do report writing, presentations, and publication of results and findings in peer-reviewed journals</li>\n<li>Contribute to development and writing of research grant proposals</li>\n<li>Conduct research study in accordance to study protocol; e.g. plan and manage project schedule</li>\n<li>Assist Investigators’ with required site research administration; e.g. draft and review research agreements, liaison with research office for reporting, liaison with collaborators and external vendors to for logistical planning</li>\n<li>Other ad hoc administrative duties, e.g. schedule meetings, minute writing, procurement of research-related items, claim submission etc.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nQualifications\n\n\nThe applicant should:\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Bachelor/Masters degree in biomedical science, bioinformatics, statistics, data science or a related field</li>\n<li>Strong in analytical skills. Preferably proficient in statistical software such as SPSS and/or R</li>\n<li>Be able to work independently and in a team</li>\n<li>Have exceptional interpersonal, written and communication skills</li>\n<li>Good organisation and administrative skills</li>\n</ol>\n\n\nApplication\n\n\nRecruitment is open immediately, and will continue until the position is filled.
