We have a competent team of professoriate staff, teachers, and researchers working on a wide range of social work issues for different target groups. Particularly, rich quantitative and/or qualitative research experiences and publication records in clinical and family social work are preferred.  Knowledge of the local context with more than five years of experience as a registered social worker would be an advantage.  Applicants should possess a PhD degree in social work or a related field.  \n\n\nThe appointee is expected to be research active and participate in collaborative and interprofessional efforts with colleagues at the University or worldwide.  Teaching courses, supervising students at both graduate and undergraduate levels, and contributing to the administration of academic programmes are the other core responsibilities.  For enquiries about the position, please contact Professor Amy Chow, Head of Department (<a data-mz=\"\" href=\"mailto:chowamy@hku.hk\" rel=\"no-follow\">chowamy@hku.hk</a>).\n\n\nA highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
