As a Teaching Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to coordinate teaching activities such as lectures and tutorials and for the preparation and delivery of these classes around Japanese language subjects.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">Your role reports to the Program Convenor in Japanese Studies.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>Your responsibilities will include: </strong></p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Subject (module) coordination duties including the development of Learning Management System sites and subject guides, preparing and marking assessments, selecting and supervising tutors, recording/reporting component and final results.</li>\n<li>Subject delivery, including preparing and conducting lectures, tutorials and seminars;</li>\n<li>Curriculum design and innovation, including cross-disciplinary approaches. </li>\n<li>Development of technology-based teaching, learning and assessment programs and resources. </li>\n</ul>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>Who We Are Looking For</strong></p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">We are seeking a highly committed and engaging educator who has demonstrated experience in teaching at the tertiary level. You will have the opportunity for professional development to conduct scholarly activity or academic research that informs and enhances your teaching throughout your role.
