Applications are now invited for the following post:\n\n\nAssistant Professor \nSchool of Interdisciplinary Studies \n(Post Ref.: 23/380)\n\n\nSchool of Interdisciplinary Studies\nThe School of Interdisciplinary Studies (SIS) was established to deepen interdisciplinary studies and scholarly collaboration. SIS positions at the fusion of excellence of interdisciplinary research and education. The School’s strategic areas are centred with the theme of sustainability and embraced by the fundamental engineering science and lead to smart future.\n\n\nGeneral Requirements\nApplicants for the position should have a PhD degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or related discipline. The candidates should have a good track record in teaching and successful funding application in relevant areas, and a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals of good international standing. He/she should demonstrate strong potential toward innovative and interdisciplinary solutions in sustainability.\n\n\nLingnan University pursues excellence in both teaching and research. The appointee is expected to apply for external competitive grants, and commit to teaching excellence and active services to the School, and the University. Applicants are required to provide information on their work experience, qualifications, research records, and evidence of quality teaching. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.\n\n\nAppointment\nThe conditions of appointment will be competitive. The remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
