As part of their residency, students participate in a two-year academic programme that complements their majors by supporting four of the <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"https://www.nus.edu.sg/registrar/academic-information-policies/undergraduate-students/general-education/for-students-admitted-from-ay2021-22\" rel=\"no-follow\" target=\"_blank\">NUS General Education pillars</a>. This programme is integrated into the day-to-day life of the College, which has a strong focus on sustainability and workplace readiness. RVRC’s strategic goal is to cultivate students who are intellectually inquisitive, keen to grow, future-oriented, and value social and environmental responsibility.\n\n\nJob Description\n\n\nRVRC seeks to appoint one committed individual to complement our team of educators. The successful applicant will, among other things, teach interdisciplinary courses, contribute to curriculum design and development, and engage in out-of-classroom learning and other student-centric pedagogies anchored in the different forms of sustainability as well as workplace readiness. The appointee will also be expected to contribute to the College's student life programmes, which includes advising and mentoring students in various living-and-learning activities. We are open to applicants from any academic discipline, but the ideal applicant must have strong interdisciplinary capabilities coupled with a passion for their own field of expertise. The ideal applicant must work well in a team and be committed to student learning, supporting students in their first two years of university life, and preparing them for their post-college experiences. The successful applicant will be employed as a full-time RVRC faculty member on the University’s Educator Track. The appointment is targeted for the Academic Year 2024/2025. \n\n\nWe welcome you to apply to join our committed team of educators!\n\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Design and teach academic interdisciplinary courses in collaborative teams</li>\n<li>Engage students in out-of-classroom learning (including outdoor learning)</li>\n<li>Mentor students in formal and informal learning settings</li>\n<li>Support the College’s mission through service contributions, including leading educational initiatives</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>A PhD (or equivalent).
