{"job":{"jobId":2498123,"fk_accountId":null,"fk_organizationId":1833,"fk_adminAccountId":null,"title":"Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Statistics 2024","description":"\n\nLocation\n\n\nKAUST, Thuwal\n\n\nDescription\n\n\nThe Statistics (STAT) Program in the Computer, Electrical, and Mathematical Sciences and Engineering (CEMSE) Division at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) invites applications for faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor (exceptional candidates at the Associate Professor level may be considered).\n\n\nThe STAT program (see <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"https://stat.kaust.edu.sa\" rel=\"no-follow\" target=\"_blank\">https://stat.kaust.edu.sa</a>) consists of 8 core faculty members from 7 countries, one instructional professor, about 40 MS and PhD students, 5 research scientists and 15 Postdocs. \n\n\nWe seek a candidate that could complement the current research profiles in the program, which currently has research groups in Bayesian computational statistics and modeling, Bayesian deep learning, biostatistics, environmental statistics, extreme statistics, geospatial statistics and health surveillance, spatio-temporal statistics and data science, and stochastic processes and applied statistics. Candidates with portfolios that align with Saudi Arabia’s national priorities for research, development, and innovation (RDI), namely, Health and Wellness, Sustainability and Essential Needs, Energy and Industrials, and Economies of the Future will be given the utmost priority (see also <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"https://www.rdia.gov.sa/index.en.html\" rel=\"no-follow\" target=\"_blank\">https://www.rdia.gov.sa/index.en.html</a>).
