{"job":{"jobId":2498126,"fk_accountId":null,"fk_organizationId":1833,"fk_adminAccountId":null,"title":"Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Material Science and Engineering","description":"\n\nLocation\n\n\nKing Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Thuwal, Saudi Arabia\n\n\nDescription\n\n\nThe KAUST Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) program seeks candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor who will develop a world-class competitive research program in MSE supporting at least one of the following focus areas:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Health &amp; Wellness</li>\n<li>Sustainability and Essential Needs</li>\n<li>Energy and Industrials</li>\n<li>Economies of the Future</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nThe application must contain detailed elaboration on the relation of the proposed research program to these focus areas.\n\n\nAbout the PSE Division and KAUST\n\n\nThe Physical Science and Engineering (PSE) Division comprises seven Degree Programs: Applied Physics, Earth Science and Engineering, Energy Resources and Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. These disciplines provide the foundation for our Division's quest to address some of the major challenges that we face in the world today, including those related to energy and the environment. Specifically, our faculty members and their research teams work on topics as diverse as: photovoltaics, super capacitors, porous materials for carbon capture and membranes, clean combustion, atmospheric modeling, new polymers and composite for smart materials and structures.\n\n\nKAUST is an international graduate research university dedicated to advancing science and technology through interdisciplinary research, education, and innovation. Active service to KAUST on all aspects of academic life. </li>\n</ul>\n\n\nResearch Responsibilities\n\n\nThe University offers access to multiple sources of research funding to its Principal Investigators.
