The successful candidate will work on a highly interdisciplinary project involving the chemical synthesis of carbohydrates and glycolipids.\n\n\nThe successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Have a degree in Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry (Minimum standard 2:1).</li>\n<li>Have or about to obtain a PhD in Organic Chemistry.</li>\n<li>Can demonstrate specific, relevant research experience which includes:\n\t<ul>\n<li>Experience in synthetic organic chemistry.</li>\n<li>Experience in the synthesis of carbohydrates</li>\n<li>Designing synthetic routes and performing multi-step chemical syntheses.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Demonstrable ability to apply core analytical techniques (1D/2D NMR, MS).</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nPlease note the above are not an exhaustive list.
