Zhang’s group.\n\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>work on the projects of photonics, topological physics, and nanophysics</li>\n<li>design/refine the research instruments</li>\n<li>coordinate data collection and analysis</li>\n<li>support the organization of dissemination events</li>\n<li>assist in the preparation of reports and manuscripts</li>\n<li>perform other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nRequirements\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>a Ph.D. degree in Physics or a related discipline</li>\n<li>Strong background in one or more of the following areas: integrated photonics, 2D materials, topological physics (theory), nanofabrication, ultrafast optics</li>\n<li>an excellent command of written and spoken English</li>\n<li>good interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>the ability to work on a tight schedule to meet project deadlines</li>\n<li>the ability to work independently and in a team</li>\n<li>self-motivated and responsible</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nWhat We Offer\n\n\nThe appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 2 years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
