{"job":{"jobId":2498672,"fk_accountId":null,"fk_organizationId":493,"fk_adminAccountId":null,"title":"Tenure-Track Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy","description":"\n\nWork type: Full-time\nDepartment: Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (21300)\nCategories: Professoriate Staff\n\n\nApplications are invited for appointment as Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 518943), to commence as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and with consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract.\n\n\nApplicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutical science or other relevant disciplines, with a strong track record of high-quality research in pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, drug delivery or other related fields.  Preference will be given to those with research interests complementary to the departmental research strategy, which focuses on the development of drug delivery systems for pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals, nanomaterials for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes, drug transport across biological barriers, and pharmacokinetics. A Bachelor or higher degree in pharmacy and/or teaching experience will be an advantage. Applicants should also demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, and the ability to contribute to the curriculum development of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including medicine, pharmacy, biomedical sciences, nursing and/or Chinese medicine.
