You will need to be an approachable leader, able to motivate and communicate with academic and professional services colleagues. The role will also require you to be able to engage confidently with a variety of senior colleagues and stakeholders across the university and externally.\n\n\nThe Director of our Executive Business Centre will be expected to:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Provide strategic, operational, and visionary leadership for the Executive Business Centre (EBC) aligned to the University’s 2030 Strategy.</li>\n<li>Lead, develop and grow the new EBC; developing an ambitious and thriving executive business portfolio that supports the current and future needs of business.</li>\n<li>Develop and innovate teaching, learning and assessment pedagogies, including embedding technology-enhanced learning.</li>\n<li>Establish, manage and nurture strategic partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to successfully develop the EBC’s reputation, client base and income.</li>\n<li>Contribute to the centres successful research culture and inspire others to attain excellence in research and enterprise activity</li>\n<li>Develop clear plans to close the centres award gaps</li>\n<li>Foster a collegiate and inclusive working environment for staff and students.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nThe Director of our Executive Business Centre will be supported by a Deputy Head and a School Management Team.\n\n\nWe welcome applications from candidates with experience at senior manager level within an education-based organisation of comparable size and complexity. We are looking for individuals who have a track record of academic achievement across teaching and learning, building strategic partnerships, student experience, and an excellent understanding of academic quality and compliance issues.
