You will need to be an approachable leader, able to motivate and communicate with academic and professional services colleagues. The role will also require you to be able to engage confidently with a variety of senior colleagues and stakeholders across the university and externally.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">The Director of our Executive Business Centre will be expected to:</p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Provide strategic, operational, and visionary leadership for the Executive Business Centre (EBC) aligned to the University’s 2030 Strategy.</li>\n<li>Lead, develop and grow the new EBC; developing an ambitious and thriving executive business portfolio that supports the current and future needs of business.</li>\n<li>Develop and innovate teaching, learning and assessment pedagogies, including embedding technology-enhanced learning.</li>\n<li>Establish, manage and nurture strategic partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to successfully develop the EBC’s reputation, client base and income.</li>\n<li>Contribute to the centres successful research culture and inspire others to attain excellence in research and enterprise activity</li>\n<li>Develop clear plans to close the centres award gaps</li>\n<li>Foster a collegiate and inclusive working environment for staff and students.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">The Director of our Executive Business Centre will be supported by a Deputy Head and a School Management Team.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">We welcome applications from candidates with experience at senior manager level within an education-based organisation of comparable size and complexity. We are looking for individuals who have a track record of academic achievement across teaching and learning, building strategic partnerships, student experience, and an excellent understanding of academic quality and compliance issues. It features three baroque buildings that were designed by the celebrated architect Sir Christopher Wren in the late 17th century. The campus is often cited as one of the greenest in the UK.</p><p>Just off the main campus in Greenwich is the Cooper Building where the Student Union is located, complete with a modern bar, pool room, shop and eateries.</p><p> </p><p>The university has two other campuses. The Avery Hill campus is located in 86-acre grounds in Eltham, southeast London, and is made up of two sites that feature computer clusters, laboratories, lecture theatres and libraries, as well as being surrounded by pubs, clubs and restaurants.</p><p>The university’s Medway campus, 30 miles from central London on the Kent coast, is defined by Edwardian redbrick and ivy-clad buildings that house the Faculty of Engineering and Science as well as programmes from the Faculty of Education and Health.</p><p> </p><p>The university has a large international community and students come from nearly 180 countries worldwide.
