The duration of appointment will be 11 months. \n\n\nQualifications\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.</li>\n<li>Proven experience with system administration (Linux preferred, but not required if candidate is willing to learn).</li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.</li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of web development preferred [e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.]</li>\n<li>Familiarity with quantitative research methods, data science tools, and machine learning techniques preferably in R and/or Python preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nResponsibilities\n\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Linux System Administration\n<ul>\n<li>Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and workstations.</li>\n<li>Set up user accounts to allow for remote SSH.</li>\n<li>Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability.</li>\n<li>Conduct regular security and system updates.</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.</li>\n<li>Implement and manage backup, recovery, and data storage solutions.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>NUS IT Compliance\n<ul>\n<li>Engage with the National University of Singapore (NUS) IT Department to maintain compliance with required IT standards and policies.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with NUS IT for audits, assessments, and any infrastructure improvements.</li>\n<li>Stay up-to-date with the latest IT regulations, standards, and best practices associated with NUS.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Event Logistical Support\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support during events, ensuring all IT infrastructure and resources are in place.</li>\n<li>Coordinate the setup, breakdown, and troubleshooting of IT equipment during events.</li>\n<li>Work with event planners to integrate technology needs into event schedules.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Web Development\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of company websites.</li>\n<li>Ensure websites are optimised, responsive, and user-friendly.</li>\n<li>Work with other departments to update web content and ensure accuracy.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Research Assistantship in Quantitative Projects\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in various stages of quantitative research, from data collection to analysis.</li>\n<li>Use data science and machine learning techniques to process, analyze, and visualize data.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with lead researchers on data modeling, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nApplication Instructions\n\n\nFor full consideration, applicants must submit the following set of documents:\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Completed Personal Data Consent Form - <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"http://www.nus.edu.sg/careers/potentialhires/applicationprocess/NUS-Personal-Data-Consent-for-Job-Applicants.pdf\" rel=\"no-follow\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.nus.edu.sg/careers/potentialhires/applicationprocess/NUS-Personal-Data-Consent-for-Job-Applicants.pdf</a></li>\n<li>Full CV;
