Applicants with backgrounds in synthetic organic and/or nucleic acid chemistry are encouraged to apply to work on the following projects:\n\n\nProject 1: Development of new catalysts and catalytic transformations for applications in natural product synthesis and medicinal chemistry.\n\n\nProject 2: DNA-programmed chemistry for applications in catalysis and chemical biology.\n\n\nApplicants must have received a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related discipline or are about to complete PhD before November 2023. Candidates with significant research experience in synthetic organic chemistry (catalysis, methodology, natural product total synthesis) or nucleic acid chemistry (ideally both) will be given preference. The ideal candidates, in addition to excellent expertise, are initiative and able to work in multi-disciplinary teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are preferred.\n\n\nThe terms of employment are very competitive and include housing and educational subsidies for children.
