You will work with the support of more senior colleagues to develop your expertise in teaching, scholarship and/or research with an increasing degree of autonomy.\n\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Support subject coordinators in the successful delivery of high-quality teaching</li>\n<li>Prepare, administer and mark assessments in accordance with subject guidelines in the University Handbook</li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of course and subject material</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nWho We Are Looking for\n\n\nWe are seeking a highly successful applicant who is committed and an engaging educator with demonstrated experience of teaching at a tertiary level. You will have a strong understanding of the learning orientations of a diverse student cohort, combined with the ability to apply this knowledge and understanding to create inclusive learning environments.\n\n\nYou will also have:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>A completed Honours or Master's Degree (Tutor) or PhD (Senior Tutor) in a relevant discipline, with a demonstrated specialisation in the contemporary publishing industry</li>\n<li>Active participation in publishing networks and the capacity to transfer industry knowledge to coursework and teaching</li>\n<li>Demonstrated track record of effective teaching and learning practices and an ability to develop educational resources</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nFor further information regarding responsibilities and requirements, please refer to the attached PD.\n\n\nThis position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check to ensure the University provides a safe environment for everyone.\n\n\nPlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
