You will coordinate and teach Arts Finance and Budgeting, combining academic excellence with practical financial management expertise in the dynamic creative industries. Your ability to bridge theory and industry-relevant skills will empower students for successful careers in the arts. This will be a rewarding opportunity for those passionate about both academia and the creative sector.\n\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Teaching and Learning: coordinate subjects, deliver lectures and seminars, and provide thesis supervision.</li>\n<li>Scholarship and Research: engage in scholarly activities, produce publications, and secure teaching and learning innovation grants.</li>\n<li>Leadership and Service: actively participate in leadership roles and develop institutional partnerships while complying with university policies.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nWho We Are Looking For\n\n\nYou possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse student cohorts, foster inclusive learning environments, and effectively collaborate with colleagues and industry partners in the arts and cultural sector.\n\n\nYou will also have:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>A postgraduate qualification and professional experience in financial management or accounting in an arts-specific context.</li>\n<li>Active connections to the arts and cultural sector through work experience, consulting, or industry-related research.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated excellence in teaching, including curriculum design and subject/module coordination.</li>\n<li>deep understanding of diverse student orientations and the ability to create inclusive learning environments tailored to their needs.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nFor further information regarding responsibilities and requirements, please refer to the attached PD.\n\n\nThis position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check to ensure the University provides a safe environment for everyone. \n\n\nPlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.\n\n\nYour New Team – Faculty of Arts\n\n\nThe Faculty of Arts is a leading academic community dedicated to exploring and understanding the complexities of our ever-changing world.
