{"job":{"jobId":2499140,"fk_accountId":null,"fk_organizationId":18066,"fk_adminAccountId":null,"title":"Manager (Applications Development), IT Services Office","description":"\n\nPost Specification\n\n\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Manage a team of developers, providing guidance and direction as needed;</li>\n<li>Oversee the planning, design, implementation, test and delivery of system development projects;</li>\n<li>Collaborate with other departments to ensure project implementations are aligned with overall business objectives;</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards;</li>\n<li>Identify and manage project risks and issues, and provide regular project status updates to the management team;</li>\n<li>Continuously improve the software development process and implement best practices;</li>\n<li>Hire and train new team members as needed.</li>\n</ol>\n\n\nQualifications and Requirements:\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Bachelor's degree above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;</li>\n<li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a management role;</li>\n<li>Strong leadership and team management skills;</li>\n<li>Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;</li>\n<li>Experience with Agile development methodologies;</li>\n<li>Experience with software development tools and technologies;</li>\n<li>Familiar with programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript;</li>\n<li>Familiar with database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL;</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;</li>\n<li>Fluency in English is preferred;</li>\n<li>Expertise in higher education industry is preferred.</li>\n</ol>\n\n\nSalary and Benefits\n\n\nSalary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC.
