You will work closely with the Senior Administrative Officer (Programmes), providing administrative support to a range of programmes and courses delivered at the University. \n\n\nThis position requires an individual who enjoys working directly with and advising students. The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate a strong customer focus and understanding of what students and staff need, computing skills (databases), with the ability to work to a high level of accuracy.  The role will require excellent interpersonal and organisational ability. You will need to be adaptable to different situations and should be well organised and methodical in your approach. Relevant administrative experience would be a distinct advantage.\n\n\nThe position will be based on campus in the Academic Hive with the option of hybrid working after probation period. The role also provides support to the student helpdesk rota covering holiday/meetings and lunchtimes assisting with face to face/telephone/email queries from students and Academics.\n\n\nAbout You\n\n\nA good team player, you will have proven administration experience, have an approachable and understanding manner and have an eye for detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential as you will be in contact with a wide range of people.
