A2\nLimited until: permanent\nReference no.: 1650\n\n\nThe position\n\n\nThe Faculty of Historical and Cultural Studies has a long tradition in promoting integrative approaches to research and teaching in the fields of economic, social and cultural history. The advertised position is part of the key research area “Economy and society from a historical and cultural studies perspective”. The successful candidate is internationally recognized in the fields of economic history and economics or social sciences and has a strong focus on quantitative methods, e.g. regression analysis, network analysis, the analysis of geocoded data, network analysis and/or the handling of big data. In terms of research, the candidate should complement the existing financial history expertise by focusing on aspects of real economic development, such as economic growth, urban history, trade, political economy, inequality, human capital or others.
