The position is available for two years in the first instance.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>About the role</strong></p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">The person appointed will contribute to the portfolio of research undertaken by SHEC. </p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Members of SHEC have an extensive network of multidisciplinary collaborations, both nationally and internationally. </li>\n<li>They are involved in a variety of externally funded applied health services projects, usually in association with health care professionals. </li>\n</ul>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">The Research Fellow will undertake data collection and analysis, writing of reports, and preparing papers for publication. It is expected that a large proportion of the Research Fellow’s work will involve the design and execution of health economic evaluations and modelling analyses. An initial focus for the person appointed will be the development and execution of an early economic model for a study of an AI assisted dental disease detection intervention. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">Under the leadership of Professor Heather Gage, researchers in the Surrey Health Economics Centre support projects in the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Kent, Surrey, Sussex. The post holder will contribute to this activity and will also have the opportunity to collaborate in grant applications.
