This is a one-year position which includes a travel budget. The post is available from the 1st of October 2024. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">The PDRA will be expected to work on extensions of applications of p-adic integration to the Diophantine geometry of modular curves and Shimura varieties. These extensions would be developed by establishing links with the theory of p-adic modular forms, p-adic integration on modular curves, the p-adic Hodge theory of varieties with bad reduction, and explicit/computational methods for p-adic cohomology and isocrystals.
