You will develop and trial tools and protocols to assess and reduce impacts of renewable infrastructure on Country and cultural values at a national scale. Your work will contribute to providing a clear pathway for large-scale roll-out of renewable energy.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">You will work closely with government and industry, land managers, environmental advocacy groups, and First Nations organisations to co-design a rapid, culturally appropriate, and nature-positive transition net zero.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><em>The Biodiversity Institute is committed to expanding both its expertise and its diversity at all academic levels. This initial assessment will lay the foundation for more detailed spatial risk analysis and risk minimisation efforts</li>\n<li>Develop a comprehensive report for decision-makers that encapsulates the cultural implications of energy transition and infrastructure development. Share the findings widely through explainers, webinars, engagement activities, and media</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>About You</strong></p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">You will be an exceptional communicator and relationship builder, with the ability to engage diverse decision-makers and communities.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">You understand the importance of cultural considerations, priorities and challenges facing First Nations communities in energy transition and infrastructure development and are able to work with communities and with First Nations organisations and experts at all levels</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">You will also have:</p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Completion (or near completion) of graduate-level studies in participatory decision-making, First Nations knowledges, caring for Country or environmental research.
