{"job":{"jobId":2509838,"fk_accountId":null,"fk_organizationId":494,"fk_adminAccountId":null,"title":"KHP Digital Health Training Manager","description":"\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">This new role is an exciting opportunity to provide professional services leadership to our new <strong>EPSRC funded</strong> <strong>King’s Health Partners Digital Health Hub</strong> (KHP DHH) as the <strong>Training manager.</strong> </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">The training component of this Hub aims to identify and deliver the skills to promote the training of problem solvers with real life challenges on the health care - industry interface. The goal is to train reactive people to solve problems using relevant data and technologies that address real problems in digital health. Digital innovators and the health care work force will work together in a multi-disciplinary environment to develop safe and scalable solutions. This training arm of the Hub will interact with and react to initiatives from the other Hub arms including co-creation, entrepreneurship, industrial partner engagement, Personal and Public Involvement (PPI), digital health innovation and the research pilots embedded in the Hub.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">Organised and delivery-focused, you will have good experience of gathering, interpreting and presenting data to demonstrate impact. Experience of matrix working would be a benefit as the programme aims to facilitate collaborative efforts in identifying and overcoming the barriers for effective integration and translation across disciplines. You will work closely with the subject matter experts and learning technologist to maintain existing asynchronous training resources and create new engaging training resources for a range of audiences in digital health. The role will also support the delivery of in-person training from the initial advertisement, organisation of bursaries and follow-up feedback on completion of the training.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">The successful candidate will work with the learning technologist and understand the learning objectives of participants in the course. You will engage with the supporters, the patients and the public in workshops led by the participants sharing their learning experience and feedback suggestions for the structure and contents of the taught material.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">Onsite working will be required for effective collaboration across the Digital Health Hub and the expectation is that the successful candidate will be onsite working at least three days per week. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">Responsible to: Training Pillar Lead, Professor Rebecca Oakey, Medical & Molecular Genetics; and R & D Manager Rahima Begum, Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">This post will be offered on an a fixed-term contract till 30/09/26 </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent with at least 3 days per week on site either St Thomas’ Hospital campus or at Guy’s campus.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">Key responsibilities</p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Providing efficient and proactive project management support to ensure the delivery of the training programme, working closely with the Training lead, R&D Manager, Pillar Leads, Course Content Developer, and others within the KHP DHH. </li>\n<li>Provide current communications internally about the training and co-creation pillars and externally to those signing up to training opportunities. </li>\n<li>Design and implement feedback mechanisms for the training and co-creation pillars to feed back into the KHP DHH. Capture and summarize information from applicants, participants and trainers. </li>\n<li>Gathering, interpreting and presenting data to report to senior management of the DHH. </li>\n<li>To assist the Training and Co-creation lead/s in identifying, implementing, and tracking deliverables and support reporting to Hub Director. To support relevant events across the KHP DHH locally and nationally (e.g., for inter-hub activities). These are events such as open days, induction, retreats, career days and networking events. </li>\n<li>To report progress of the training and co-creation pillar to the R&D Manager as required, including submission of deliverables, periodic and final reports, summaries of progress, reports on use of resources, and drafting documentation and reports as required, ensuring that all reporting is submitted on time and using the required format. </li>\n<li>To liaise between Pillar Leads to ensure collaboration between them and identify strategic opportunities to maximize impact of the pillar deliverables. </li>\n<li>To champion the Hub across the stakeholders, to ensure maximum awareness. </li>\n<li>Ensure the Training resource of the KHP DHH connects to other sources of support and training relevant to course participants across the University, NHS and nationally. </li>\n<li>To line manage the learning technologist. </li>\n</ul>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><em>The above list of responsibilities may not be exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post.</em></p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">Skills, knowledge, and experience </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>Essential criteria</strong></p>\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Strong project/programme management experience </li>\n<li>A degree in a science or health-related field, or relevant experience, and familiarity with medical/scientific terminology. </li>\n<li>Customer focused, with excellent communication skills both verbal and written: ability to write coherently, and in good English, to a range of audiences across a range of academic disciplines. </li>\n<li>Proactive, ability to work independently, problem solve and use initiative. </li>\n<li>Experience of managing relationships with a range of stakeholders </li>\n<li>Good attention to detail. </li>\n<li>Well-developed interpersonal skills at all levels. </li>\n<li>Good IT skills (Office 365 suite) </li>\n<li>Experience of impact/non-financial outcomes measurement, analysis and reporting </li>\n<li>Experience with communication strategies, such as effective use of social media and websites </li>\n</ol>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>Desirable criteria</strong></p>\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Experience of matrix working </li>\n<li>Knowledge of evaluation and impact measurement techniques and analysis </li>\n<li>Market research experience </li>\n<li>Experience of designing or commissioning education or learning events </li>\n<li>Web design and UX skills </li>\n<li>Line management experience? </li>\n<li>Budget management experience. </li>\n</ol>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"> Further Information</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">We ask all candidates to submit a copy of their CV, and a supporting statement, detailing how they meet the essential criteria listed in the advert.
