{"job":{"jobId":2510098,"fk_accountId":null,"fk_organizationId":826,"fk_adminAccountId":null,"title":"Post Doctoral Fellow","description":"\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><b>Position Overview</b></p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">KU is seeking a highly motivated Post-Doctoral Fellow to work in experimental wet chemistry, materials science, and nanotechnology in two parts: (1) Hybrid metallic and semiconducting nanomaterials for emerging technologies in solar cells and water desalination; (2) Conductive ink formulation with functional organic materials for Nano devices and printed electronics.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">As part of the project, the researcher will have access to state-of-the-art research equipment and facilities at the <b>Advanced Material Chemistry Center (AMCC), Optoelectronic Characterization (OEC) Core Laboratory</b>, <b>Material Testing Laboratory, Electron Microscopy Facility, Solar and Device Characterization Laboratory, Research and Innovation Center (RICH), Healthcare Engineering Innovation Center(HEIC), and Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KU-KAIST) Joint Research Center</b> and will get an opportunity to work alongside researchers and graduate students from various backgrounds as part of a wider team.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><b>Position Requirements</b></p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Extensive experience in nanomaterial synthesis and characterization</li>\n<li>General practical experience of most common dry and wet chemistry material synthesis and deposition techniques, including electrodeposition, hydrothermal, thermal evaporation, sputtering, spin coating, and full Microscopic and spectroscopic characterization techniques. </li>\n<li>Practical user of main microscopic and spectroscopic systems for material morphology, crystal structure and properties investigation (with extensive hands-on experience) of Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), high-resolution X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Optical Spectroscopies (UV-Vis, PL, Raman, FTIR). Also, other techniques such as Four-point sheet resistance and Hall effect measurements, Cyclic Voltammetry (CV), Impedance Electrochemical Spectroscopy (EIS), and photovoltaic characteristics using Solar Simulator IV (Current-Voltage Characteristic) and Quantum efficiency analysis.</li>\n<li>Deposition of hybrid conducting composite inks and suspensions on various substrates and their characterization, device prototyping and testing.</li>\n<li>Work with graduate students, researchers and faculty members in reporting and dissemination of results in meetings, conferences, and prestigious journals.</li>\n<li>Adhere to the University's information security and confidentiality policies and procedures, and report breaches or other security risks accordingly</li>\n<li>Perform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><b>Candidate Profile</b></p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><b>Essential Criteria</b></p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>PhD from a reputable university in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science. or related discipline.</li>\n<li>Experience writing scientific and review papers</li>\n<li>A willingness to contribute to a collaborative and supportive team culture</li>\n<li>Excellent English language communication skills (verbal and written)</li>\n<li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team</li>\n<li>The proven ability to work on multiple tasks with competing demands and deadlines.</li>\n<li>Ability to train and mentor students and support fellow researchers</li>\n<li>Highly developed reasoning and problem-solving skills</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px;
