They will be required to teach, convene, and examine the following undergraduate courses: Latin at Advanced Level (30 credits), a 15-credit module on Virgil’s <em>Aeneid</em>, 50% of the <em>Contemporary Approaches to Latin Literature</em> module, and two introductory 15-credit modules on Greek and Latin Literature. They will also be required to supervise second-year projects on Virgil and final-year students’ dissertations and to support Foundation Year students in project work. Additionally, the appointee will be expected to contribute to administrative duties, taking on a small administrative load, and to attend relevant meetings and committees, as required. They will work closely with the Head of Department, the UG Education Lead and other academic members of staff in areas including curriculum design, lesson planning, and the development and implementation of learning technologies. and for offering pastoral support as Personal Tutor. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">Applicants should have experience of teaching Latin language and Classical literature, ideally to undergraduates in a university environment.
