Emphasis will be on Explainable AI (XAI) to ensure models are understandable and trusted by clinicians. The role involves close collaboration with clinicians to translate research into practical diagnostic tools, contributing to a digital-twin driven deep phenotyping platform for enhanced clinical decision-making and disease management.\n\n\nThis is a research focused role, where you will conduct a specified programme of research supported by research training and development under the supervision and direction of a Principal Investigator.\n\n\nThe primary purpose of the role is to further develop your research skills and competences, including the processes of publication in peer-reviewed academic publications, the development of funding proposals, the mentorship of graduate students along with the opportunity to develop your skills in research led teaching.\n\n\nPost Doc level 1 Fixed Salary: €44,347 per annum.\n\n\nAppointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.\n\n\nClosing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 18th June 2024.\n\n\nApplications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified.
