This is a partnership committed to bringing together health staff, consumers and academics to support rigorous research and evaluation activities within the NSW public health system and enabling the translation of evidence into practice.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">We have a fantastic opportunity for a Research Support Officer/Senior Research Support Officer to provide valuable support to the Academic Lead and the team in this important collaboration for SHeLL.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>Your key responsibilities will be to:</strong></p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>HEO 6 Research Officer</strong></p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>provide project management for research programs related to health literacy including project planning, tracking, implementing, analysis and reporting</li>\n<li>review and modify existing project processes and procedures, implement revisions that streamline systems and more effectively supports research output</li>\n<li>contribute to the development and evaluation of Statewide health literacy initiatives, including training and ambassador programs, seminar series, and Communities of Practice.</li>\n<li>provide updates to the Chief Investigator/Supervisor about progress of research activity</li>\n<li>analyse data using statistical analysis and modelling, report on findings and, in collaboration with more senior researchers, use this to further the research work undertaken</li>\n<li>source information, research and prepare drafts for research publications and presentations including preparing literary reviews and carrying out theoretical research to support the overall research objectives</li>\n<li>manage the preparation of documentation for publications and presentations aligned to the research program objectives</li>\n<li>undertake appropriate research procedures in accordance with relevant ethics protocols</li>\n<li>prepare material for submission to ethics committees when required</li>\n<li>3-5 years of research experience</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>HEO 7 Senior Research Officer - In addition to the above</strong></p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>guide research direction and priorities, ensuring projects align with broader university and NSW Health goals</li>\n<li>evaluate and optimise grant management processes, ensuring maximum funding opportunities and successful grant acquisitions</li>\n<li>champion best practices in research, driving the adoption of innovative methodologies and ensuring stringent compliance</li>\n<li>direct the design and implementation of advanced data management systems, ensuring data-driven insights and research excellence</li>\n<li>foster open communication and collaboration within the team, addressing stakeholder queries and concerns in a timely manner, while building trust within immediate work networks</li>\n<li>navigate external partnerships, fostering collaborations that elevate research stature and impact</li>\n<li>5 to 10 years of research experience, including experience managing, reporting, and disseminating research data</li>\n<li>experience leading end-to-end discrete research projects</li>\n<li>experience working with external partners and stakeholders</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">To keep our community safe, please be aware of our <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"https://www.sydney.edu.au/covid-19/health-safety/keeping-our-campus-covid-safe.html\" rel=\"no-follow\" target=\"_blank\">COVID safety precautions</a> which form our conditions of entry for all staff, students and visitors coming to campus.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>Sponsorship / work rights for</strong> <strong>Australia</strong></p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
