The candidate should have research specialisms in Latin American performance cultures and will contribute to the expansion of the Department’s research focus in this area. Additional skills are fluency in Spanish and experience with applied and/or community theatre practices. Commitment to student-centred pedagogy and professional links to partners in Latin America are essential. Applicants should be prepared to teach across all three undergraduate years, and across the portfolio of courses in on our MA programmes in the Department of Drama, Theatre & Dance. Previous teaching experience is critical, as is evidence of professional performance practice. Additional skills in dance training and/or physical theatre are particularly welcomed. As part of the role, the successful applicant will be expected to attend Departmental staff meetings, and take responsibility for Summer Term activities and attend Open Days and AVDs as part of our Admissions. </p>\n<p>In return we offer a highly competitive rewards and benefits package including generous annual leave and training and development opportunities.
