As an AMBA and AACSB accredited Business School we are seeking to recruit a number of outstanding individuals for key research and teaching positions in a number of disciplines as outlined below to play a crucial role in the School achieving its vision which includes securing EQUIS accreditation within the next 12 months. The Business School is a strong part of the University with successful undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, a large PhD portfolio as well as an MBA and DBA. </p>\n<p>The Department of OB and HRM brings together internationally renowned academics with teaching and research interests in the area of careers, corporate social responsibility, crisis, critical management studies, employment, entrepreneurship, ethics, immigration, industrial relations, labour unions, leadership, liminality, mindfulness, psychoanalysis, sustainability, and the changing world of work. Members of the department have published in top tier journals such as the <em>Academy of Management Annals</em>, <em>Academy of Management Discoveries</em>, <em>Academy of Management Education and Learning, British Journal of Management, Human Relations</em>, <em>Human Resource Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Management</em>, <em>Journal of Management</em> Studies,<em> Journal of Managerial Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, and Work, Employment and Society. </em>The department has a thriving undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio, which is built on the research strengths and focus of department staff.</p>\n<p>You will have a PhD (or equivalent degree/professional qualifications and experience) as well as a well-established academic reputation in your specialist discipline, demonstrated by a significant record of high quality published research (minimum ABS3*level or equivalent standing). Visible, engaged and collegiate you will have extensive experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level and be passionate about developing and disseminating successful learning techniques, as well as a track record in securing research funding. </p>\n<p>The University of Southampton offers different career pathways based on the proportion of research and education in a role.
