Job description
Background of the recruitment and description of the project
The KDDI Group is working towards accelerating the industrial utilisation of quantum computers by building an "AI/Quantum Common Platform" that seamlessly connects current computing infrastructure (GPUs, etc.) with quantum computers, enabling use without specialised knowledge of quantum technology.
KDDI Research is conducting R&D on core technologies for the AI/Quantum Common Platform and future-oriented quantum computer utilisation technologies to realise this platform and develop users. Within this, our team is engaged in R&D on optical quantum communication technologies connecting quantum computers and control technologies for operating optical quantum communication equipment. We are now recruiting individuals to join our team and work on R&D of these quantum communication technologies in collaboration with various companies and universities, including KDDI.
Work content and job description
We are recruiting researchers to conduct one of the following quantum communication R&D activities:
- R&D on optical quantum integrated chips
- R&D on quantum entanglement light sources
